Tradelore turns your MetaTrader 5 and prop-firm trade history into clear analytics - win rate, profit factor, drawdown, Discipline Score, and phase tracking. You upload your reports (or use the browser extension); you never connect a broker API and never share a password.
Part 1 - Using the website
1. Create your account
Head to the login page and switch to "Create account".
Enter your email and a password. The in-app hint asks for "At least 8 characters with letters and numbers - or 12+ characters."
Pass the quick security check (hCaptcha).
Click "Create account". You'll see "Check your email" - open the confirmation link Tradelore sends you, then come back and "Sign in".
2. Add your first trading account
The easiest path is to simply upload a report - Tradelore auto-creates the trading account from the file's own metadata, so there's no separate form to fill in for most people. (You can still create accounts manually later if you prefer.)
3. Upload your trade history
Click the green "Upload Report" button (top-right of an account card or account page).
In the upload window, pick a source tab: "MetaTrader 5" or "Prop firm".
MetaTrader 5: export the file from MT5 first - go to the History tab → right-click → Save as Report → Excel (.xlsx). Then select that file (you can select several at once; each is imported separately).
Prop firm: choose your firm (FTMO, 5%ers, FundingPips, CryptoFundTrader, FundedNext). Some firms use a CSV download (FTMO, FundedNext); others use a copy-paste of the trades table (5%ers, FundingPips, CryptoFundTrader). The window tells you exactly what to do for each firm.
Re-uploading the same or an overlapping report is completely safe - Tradelore deduplicates trades, so nothing is double-counted. After an import you'll see a note like "X duplicates skipped".
4. Finish account setup
After your first import you'll land on a short setup screen ("Almost there"). Pick the account size (presets like $10k / $50k / $100k, or a custom value) and the phase (Phase 1 / Phase 2 / Funded), then click "Finish setup".
This is what makes drawdown %, the Discipline Score, and the payout calculator work. You can "Skip for now", but those metrics stay locked until you set the size and phase.
5. Read your analytics
Dashboard (/dashboard): an overview of all your accounts, with period filters (All time / YTD / Quarter / Month / Week / Day / custom range).
Single account (click an account): the key stats - Net Profit, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Expectancy - plus largest loss, drawdown, average win/loss, commissions, swap, average duration, win/loss streaks, and best/worst symbol. You also get an interactive equity curve (with news-event markers), a symbol/pair table, and Session and Weekly breakdown views.
Export a report: the "Generate Report ↗" link on an account page opens a print-optimized page - use your browser's Print → "Save as PDF".
6. Prop-firm analytics
The prop-firm view (/dashboard/prop-firm) unlocks once at least one account has a firm and phase set. Its tabs:
Phases - pass rates and days-to-pass / days-to-fail.
Review - confirm whether you passed, failed, or withdrew from an account.
Lifecycle - where accounts tend to blow up, plus a survival curve.
Behavior - tilt patterns and session breakdown.
Discipline - your 0-100 Discipline Score and what drives it.
There's also a built-in payout calculator.
Part 2 - Using the browser extension
Tradelore Connector reads your trade-history table directly on your prop firm's website and imports it into Tradelore in one click - no exporting, no pasting. Supported firms: FundingPips, FTMO, 5%ers, CryptoFundTrader, Alpha Capital Group, FundedNext. It only runs on those firms' sites and does nothing anywhere else.
1. Install
Install "Tradelore Connector" from the Chrome Web Store. A "not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing" banner is normal for brand-new extensions and is not a problem (see the FAQ below).
Click "Generate pairing code" - a 6-character code appears (it expires in about 5 minutes).
Open the Tradelore Connector extension (click its toolbar icon), type the code into the popup, and click "Connect".
The device now appears under "Active extensions" in settings.
3. Import trades (daily use)
Open your prop firm's dashboard and go to its trade-history page.
The extension icon shows a badge with the number of trades it sees.
Click the extension icon → it previews the trades and the account it will import to → click "Import trades".
It routes to the right account automatically (by login number, or by matching overlapping trades). If it can't tell, it asks you to pick the account or create a new one (set size + phase, just like the web setup). You'll see a result like +25 new trades, with duplicates skipped.
4. Manage or disconnect
Revoke a device any time from Settings → Browser extension → Active extensions ("Disconnect"), or disconnect from inside the extension popup.
FAQ & troubleshooting
Will re-uploading duplicate my trades?
No. Deduplication runs per account - duplicate trades are counted and skipped, never imported twice.
My MT5 broker time looks off.
When uploading MT5 files from an unknown broker, pick the broker's timezone in the upload window. MT5 brokers are usually UTC+2 or UTC+3.
The extension says it's not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing.
That banner is normal for new Chrome Web Store extensions. It's safe to proceed.
Why are my Discipline Score / drawdown empty?
Set the account size and phase - on the web setup screen, or in the extension when you create a new account.
Do I need to connect my broker or share my password?
No. Tradelore only ever reads exported reports or the trade table you already see in your own browser. There are no broker API keys and no passwords.
